Job Details:

• Weekend rotation of 1 weekend per month required
• No on-call or holiday requirements
• Up to 7 days of time off may be approved
• Minimum 2 years of experience required
• First-time travelers are welcome
• Treat patients of all ages
• RN patient ratio of 1:4 for both days and nights
• Tech patient ratio of 1:8 for both days and nights
• Critical care level skill set required
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIHSS, TNCC/TNS, and CPI or MOAB
• Charting system: EPIC EMR
• IV Pumps: Alaris
• Medication Dispensing: Pyxis
• GE Monitors utilized on the unit
• Scrub color: Any solid color, professional — no graphics, logos, or designs

Facility:

This facility is a Level IV Trauma Center, Primary Stroke Center, and Accredited Chest Pain Center, providing a wide range of high-acuity emergency services to the community. The emergency department features 21 beds plus a 6-bed annex, with robust around-the-clock support including an in-house ED MD, hospitalist, charge nurse with reduced patient assignment, HUC, and phlebotomy assistance. The facility also maintains an active Forensic Nurse Examiner program with an RN on-call 24/7, and provides nursing station telemetry monitoring to support comprehensive patient care.
