Job Summary:

The Multimodality Tech (CT/X-Ray) is responsible for delivering high-quality imaging and patient care within CT and X-ray modalities. The technologist must effectively communicate procedures to patients and produce accurate images for interpretation by licensed practitioners.

Responsibilities:

• 
  Operate CT and X-ray equipment to capture diagnostic images according to protocols.
  
  
• 
  Explain procedures clearly to patients and ensure their comfort and safety throughout the process.
  
  
• 
  Produce high-quality images for review and diagnosis, adhering to safety standards and guidelines.
  
  
• 
  Maintain clean and functioning equipment, reporting any technical issues promptly.
  
  
• 
  Follow radiation safety protocols, including proper badge usage and documentation.
  
  
• 
  Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure efficient patient care and workflow.
  
  

Qualifications:

• 
  Possess ARRT certification in Radiography (R) and Computed Tomography (C).
  
  
• 
  Be registered with SCRQSA, BLS, and ACLS certifications (pending allowed if obtained within 2-3 weeks).
  
  
• 
  Have at least 2 years of experience in imaging modalities, including trauma, pediatrics, or orthopedic exams preferred.
  
  
• 
  Demonstrate proficiency with Siemens equipment and EMR systems like EPIC and PACS.
  
  
• 
  Hold or be eligible for a South Carolina RN license and actively maintain radiation badge credentials.
  
  
• 
  Be able to float within scope and work every other weekend, including call responsibilities.
