Operating Room Nurse (RN)

We are seeking a dedicated Operating Room Nurse (RN) to join our team. This position involves managing patient care and ensuring a safe and sterile environment during surgical procedures. The ideal candidate will have experience in circulating, scrubbing, and first assisting in various surgical specialties.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the sterile and non-sterile environment of the operating room.
• Coordinate patient care, safety, and workflow throughout the perioperative period.
• Circulate during surgical procedures across various specialties including General, Orthopedic, Robotic, Urological, OB/GYN, Podiatry, ENT, and Plastics.
• Assist with scrubbing and first assist as needed.

Work Schedule

This position is full-time, with day shifts typically running Monday through Friday from 6:30 AM to 3:00 PM, though variations may occur based on surgery schedules. Expect to participate in on-call rotations, including two weekdays per week and one weekend per month.

Required Qualifications

• Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certification.
• A minimum of 2 years of dedicated surgical nursing experience.
• Ability to manage patient care in the operating room effectively.
• Confidence in circulator responsibilities and surgical procedures.

Additional Information

Scrub attire is provided by the facility in green. Familiarity with PICIS EMR is preferred.
