Advanced Infusion RN | PICC Specialist

Join a dedicated healthcare team as an Advanced Infusion Registered Nurse specializing in PICC and Midline catheter placement. This role offers the opportunity to provide compassionate, skilled nursing care to a diverse outpatient population in the Pacific Northwest region. You will be responsible for assessing, implementing, and evaluating nursing care with a focus on IV therapy and central venous access devices.

As an infusion nurse, you will administer medications and treatments, assist healthcare providers during patient examinations, and ensure accurate documentation of patient care. Your expertise in PICC and Midline placement will be essential in delivering high-quality outpatient infusion services. The position involves 10-hour shifts with variable days and rotating weekend coverage.

Education

• Graduation from an accredited nursing program is required.
• Bachelor's degree in Nursing is preferred.

Experience and Licenses

• Current and unrestricted nursing license in Washington State.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification.

Skills and Abilities

• Proficient in nursing procedures, IV therapy, venipuncture, and central venous access devices.
• Strong critical thinking and decision-making skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA standards.
• Comfortable using electronic medical records and Microsoft Office products.

Work Environment and Physical Requirements

This role requires the ability to lift and carry up to 35 pounds occasionally, with frequent standing, walking, bending, and reaching. Visual, hearing, and speech capabilities should be within normal range, with or without corrective devices.
