Job Title: CNC Machinist (Direct Hire + Career Growth) Location: Akron and Solon OH area
Shifts: 2nd & 3rd Shift Opportunities
Pay: $20–$38/hr (depending on experience)
Job Overview
We are seeking skilled CNC Machinists for a variety of direct hire roles with top manufacturing companies in the Akron and Solon areas.
These roles range from operator-level positions to advanced setup and programming opportunities.
ResponsibilitiesOperate and set up CNC mills, lathes, or multi-axis machines
Edit or write CNC programs (Mastercam, G-code, or similar)
Perform tool changes, offsets, and first-piece inspections
Read and interpret blueprints and GD&T
Maintain quality and production standards
Qualifications
Experience operating CNC equipment (mills or lathes)
Setup or programming experience strongly preferred
Ability to read blueprints and use precision measuring tools
Experience with tight tolerances (aerospace/medical a plus)
Strong attention to detail
