About the Role:
Quality Inn & Suites is looking for friendly and motivated Hotel Front Desk Clerks to join our team in Plattsburgh, NY! This is a fantastic opportunity to be the face of our hotel, creating memorable first impressions and delivering outstanding guest experiences every day.
Responsibilities:
- Greet and welcome guests upon arrival, ensuring a smooth and friendly check-in and check-out process
- Manage reservations, cancellations, and room assignments using hotel management software
- Handle guest inquiries, requests, and complaints in a professional and timely manner
- Process payments, issue room keys, and maintain accurate billing records
- Coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance teams to ensure guest satisfaction
- Provide local area information, recommendations, and concierge-style assistance to guests
- Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming front desk environment
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Previous experience in hotel front desk, hospitality, or customer service preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask and stay calm in a fast-paced environment
- Basic computer proficiency; experience with hotel management systems is a plus
- Flexible availability including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Professional appearance and a positive, guest-first attitude
