Forklift Mechanic (Shop Forman) — $35–$45/hr. + OT + Bonus
Edison, NJ 08837

Steady Hours: 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM (Shop Role)

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING:

Diagnose & repair IC forklifts (gas, LPG, diesel)
Troubleshoot and repair electric forklifts (wiring, batteries, chargers)
Handle major repairs (engines, transmissions, hydraulics)
Complete PMs and repairs efficiently
Use diagnostic tools + write up clear work orders
(For senior techs) Help guide junior mechanics

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR:

At least 3+ years as a forklift, heavy equipment, or diesel mechanic
Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills
Comfortable with both mechanical + electrical systems
Able to work independently and on a team
Supervisory experience a plus

All candidates will be required to undergo a criminal, drug screening and motor vehicle background check.
