Calyx Living is actively seeking energetic Bistro Prep for our BRAND NEW assisted living community, Calyx Living of Apex ! We are located in beautiful Apex just off I-540 at Hwy 64.
Calyx is looking to hire NOW a Bistro Prep who is enthusiastic about working with a small crew in our bistro, impacting the lives of seniors by preparing and presenting food. The ideal candidate would be a self- starter with past experience cooking and preparing meals in a senior living setting.
Qualifications:
- Cooking experience a must
- Must be able to follow recipes and plate food in an attractive manner
- Must be able to understand and comply with state regulations established for food service
- Must be able to prepare, organize and handle minimal special requests of senior residents
- Must be able to interact with residents in a professional and friendly manner
- Must be quick and efficient during peak meal service times
- Must be available to work weekends
