Whether you're preparing cylinders for deployment, delivering equipment to customers, transporting samples, or supporting day-to-day operational needs, your work directly contributes to the quality, safety, and reliability of the services we provide.This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working with their hands, staying active throughout the day, operating equipment, driving company vehicles, and taking pride in supporting a team that delivers exceptional service to customers.What You'll DoInspect, clean, prepare, and maintain sample cylinders in accordance with established procedures and safety requirementsPerform routine quality, integrity, and safety inspections to verify cylinders are ready for field and laboratory usePrepare cylinder orders and equipment for customer, laboratory, and field sampling activitiesPick up and deliver cylinders, equipment, and samples using company vehiclesSupport timely and accurate transportation of materials between customer locations, field operations, and laboratory facilitiesTrack cylinder inventory and maintain associated documentation, records, and operational logsOperate hand tools, cleaning equipment, vacuum pumps, steam cleaning equipment, and other tools used in cylinder processing and maintenancePerform routine vehicle inspections and promptly report maintenance or safety concernsAssist with inventory organization, equipment staging, and general operational support activitiesMaintain a clean, organized, and safe work environmentParticipate in required training programs and safety initiativesPerform other duties as assignedWhat We're Looking ForHigh school diploma or GED preferred; relevant hands-on professional experience may be considered in lieu of educationPrevious work experience in logistics, transportation, warehouse operations, field services, laboratory support, shipping/receiving, or related environmentsProven mechanical aptitude and ability to safely use hand tools, cleaning equipment, and operational support equipmentBasic computer skills including Microsoft Office Suite for inventory tracking, data entry, and documentationValid driver's license with an acceptable driving recordWhat We OfferCompetitive compensationMedical, dental, and vision coverage401(k) with company matchEmployer-paid life, AD&D, and disability insurancePaid time off, sick leave, and paid holidaysPaid parental leaveEmployee Assistance Program (EAP)Tuition reimbursement and professional development supportWork Schedule & EnvironmentFull-time position with daily local travel using company-provided vehicleExposure to varying weather conditions and physical work activities throughout the workdayFlexibility work outside of scheduled hours, including evenings or weekends, as requiredOur Commitment to Diversity and InclusionAt SPL, we believe that a diverse team is a strong team.
