Merchandising Lead

Sam's Club #6259 130 Sundance Pkwy Ste 300 Round Rock, TX 78681-7935 Position Summary Provide member service by acknowledging members, identifying their needs, guiding and supporting them with self‑serve technology, purchasing decisions, locating merchandise, resolving issues, and promoting company products. Assist management with supervising associate activities, assigning duties, communicating goals, giving feedback, training, coaching, and evaluating associate performance. Receive and stock supplies and merchandise, maintain the sales floor, enforce safety procedures, manage product presentation and quality, and oversee picking and staging of club‑pick‑up orders. Communicate and implement procedures to meet business needs while ensuring compliance with company policies and ethical standards. Responsibilities Assist members with self‑serve technology and purchasing decisions. Locate merchandise and resolve member issues and concerns. Promote Sam's Club products and services. Supervise associates, assign duties, communicate goals, give feedback, and provide training and coaching. Receive, stock, and organize merchandise and supplies from distribution centers and vendors. Maintain safety of the facility, conduct safety sweeps, and correctly handle hazardous materials. Ensure merchandise presentation, handle claims, returns, stocking, and pricing in compliance with company policies. Monitor food and merchandise quality, enforce product rotation, code dating, recalls, and sanitation standards. Oversee picking and staging of club‑pick‑up orders to meet company policy. Develop, communicate, and implement processes to improve business performance. Promote compliance with ethics, standards, and the Open Door Policy. Lead and participate in teams, share resources, coordinate work assignments, and adapt to change. Foster a culture of respect, teamwork, and continuous improvement. Qualifications Minimum 18 years of age. At least 6 months of retail experience and 6 months of customer service experience. Experience leading a team, supervising, hiring, evaluating, mentoring, and developing associates. Compensation Hourly wage range: $22.00 to $30.00 (actual rate will equal or exceed minimum wage applicable to the location). Additional premiums ranging from $0.35 to $3.00 per hour may apply based on schedule, facility, season, or specific work performed. Performance‑based bonus awards.
