• Location : Park Ridge - Cardiology Clinic 1875 Dempster Street. - The primary location is the Park Ridge site but we do support providers who have clinics at other sites in the northwest suburbs. As a result this supervisor would need to occasionally go to one of the other sites for meetings etc.
• Schedule: Full-time leadership position generally scheduled Monday through Friday between 8:30 am - 5pm. However we have a handful of providers that see patients as early as 7:00 AM add some that do not finish until 6:00 PM. We also have some imaging appointments on rotating Saturdays.
• For holidays we follow the Medical Group guidelines which means we close on the six major ones and often do minimal staffing on days like Christmas Eve.
• Schedule may vary based on operational needs and may require occasional early morning evening or weekend support.
• This role works closely with clinic leadership providers and teammates across multiple departments to support daily operations staffing coordination patient experience and practice efficiency.

Were Looking For:

Associates Degree in business administration healthcare administration or related field AND 2 - 4 years of healthcare billing experience OR 4-6 years of healthcare billing experience and 3-5 years of supervisory experience.

What Youll Do:

As an Administrative Supervisor youll play a vital role in the care team supporting leaders connecting with providers and helping ensure a seamless experience every day.

As a key member of the ambulatory team you will:

Supervision of Clinical Support Staff

Administrative operations and office management

EMR Training

Administration of EMR/billing system in collaboration with System Administrator and management

Payroll

Safety Steward

Human Resources administration

Clinicians license management paneling and malpractice insurance

Record keeping

Must be able to respond to urgent need for consultation 24 hours/day 7 days/week

Ability to travel to other Advocate sites and external facilities in order to attend meetings.

Ability to work under time constraints and stressful situations.

May be exposed to bodily fluids hazardous materials and threatening diseases.

This position leads a team in a very high volume fast-paced multidisciplinary behavioral health clinic.

The Supervisor must be an expert in the de-escalation of difficult patients and be able to train and model these strategies for physicians therapists trainees and support staff.

Familiarity with the roles and functioning of other providers in the network of child and family mental health and substance abuse treatment networks. Schedule: flexible provides evening and weekend coverage as necessary
