Medical Practice Representative

Outpatient Appointment Scheduler

Performs registration and scheduling of outpatient appointments, charge entry, collection of co-pays and medical records functions. Will work on Mondays and Thursdays, 8 am to 4:30 pm in our Westminster office.

Responsibilities:

• Collects co-pays and fees for facility and professional services from patient/guarantor.
• Balances and closes all payment batches at the end of the day.
• Verifies patient insurance coverage.
• Obtains facility and professional services authorizations; may assist patients with obtaining specialty referrals.
• Performs complete registration of patients. Interviews patients to obtain correct demographic and insurance information.
• Schedules appointments into computed systems.

Qualifications:

• HS Diploma/GED preferred
• 1-3 years of related experience

Pay Range: $15.50 to $27.29 Based On Experience
