Key Responsibilities of the Registered Nurse - Med/Surg

• Provide comprehensive care to medical and post-op radial cardiac cath patients
• Administer and monitor intravenous medications, including drips like heparin
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation using Meditech EMR
• Work closely with support staff to manage a patient ratio of 6:1

Requirements of the Registered Nurse - Med/Surg

• Minimum of 1-year current Med/Surg acute care hospital experience
• BLS certification
• ACLS preferred
