Job Summary Provides anesthesia care in the operating room in support of surgical, diagnostic and therapeutic procedures under the general supervision of an anesthesiologist. Provides preoperative evaluation and postoperative follow-up. Functions as a patient advocate and confidant, advisor and liaison between patients, families, and physicians. Responsibilities Provide anesthesia care during surgical, diagnostic and therapeutic procedures. Conduct pre‑operative evaluations and post‑operative follow‑up. Act as patient advocate, confidant, advisor and liaison between patients, families and physicians. Back‑up call only, with overtime opportunities. Qualifications Education: Master’s Degree in Nursing (required). Certification: Basic Life Support (BLS). Certification: Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA). License: Registered Nurse, State of Pennsylvania.
