Job Summary
Labor and Delivery Nurse in West Bloomfield Township, Michigan. This role involves providing leadership in coordinating and delivering high-quality, compassionate patient care within the labor and delivery unit. The nurse will utilize the nursing processassessment, planning, implementation, and evaluationto provide, delegate, supervise, and document care and education for patients and their families. Effective communication of pertinent patient and family information to the healthcare team is essential.

Job Details

• Schedule: Days shift, 8 hours shifts, minimum of 40 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Graduation from an accredited school of nursing; current licensure by the Michigan State Board of Nursing; BLS (Basic Life Support), ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support), and NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certifications; minimum 2 years of Labor and Delivery experience; required post-partum experience.
• Preferred Qualifications: Bachelors degree in Nursing (BSN).
• Additional Information: The candidate must demonstrate clinical knowledge and analytical abilities necessary to formulate effective nursing care plans within the unit. Strong communication skills to effectively interact with patients, families, and hospital personnel are essential.
