Automotive Service Technician

Service Technician - Class ADCH Audi of Oxnard is Hiring a Service Technician - Class A with Audi or Volkswagen experience.Pay: $30-$55 Per Flat Rate Hour DOESchedule: We ask that you have open availability to support dealership operations and customer demand. You will need to be available to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.Why Join Our Team?We are offering a $3,000 signing bonus for qualified candidates! Must have Audi or Volkswagen experience to qualify.What You'll DoPerform work as outlined on repair order with efficiency and accuracy, in accordance with Lithia and manufacturer standards.Diagnose cause of malfunction.Complete all work according to the applicable safety requirements.Road-test vehicles to ensure quality of repair work.Accurately record time spent on repairs utilizing company time clocking procedures.Document work performed on repair order and document test procedures/results.Use shop supplies and materials in a practical and economical manner.Maintain an organized and clean workspace, completing a stall cleaning every day.Ensure that customer's vehicles are returned to them as clean as they were prior to being serviced.Complete all required training.Acquire and maintain manufacturer and ASE certifications by completing the necessary and required training.Participate in and utilize technical training as assigned by management.Review the technical bulletins and other publications as assigned by management.Constructively communicate with other dealership personnel as required to satisfy customer needs.What You'll BringAudi or Volkswagen experience, 2+ yearsCompetency: Passed manufacturer training and can perform repairs in the following areas with no supervision:Lube and Maintenance ServicesEngine RepairAutomatic TransmissionManual Drive Train RepairSuspension/Steering RepairBrake RepairElectrical/Electrical Systems RepairHybrid/Alternative FuelsHeating and A/C RepairEngine Drivability Diagnosis and Repair (Optional)Certification/Training:Manufacturer certified in all areas listed above.Must either have appropriate smog license or state emissions certification (as applicable by state/city).Customer Pay Proficiency Level: Greater than 115% Customer Pay RepairsAutomotive Technical Knowledge – 5+ yearsAcceptable driving record and a valid driver's license in your state of residenceTotal RewardsThis is a flat rate position that is also eligible for short-term and/or long-term incentives as part of total compensation, which includes bonuses based on Production Productivity.The average pay range for this position is $30-$55 per flat rate hour. $3,000 signing bonus paid out as follows: $1,000 after first 90 days, $1,000 paid after 6 months, $1,000 after 1 year of employment.Actual pay offered may vary depending on skills, experience, job-related knowledge, and physical location.
