Northbrook Rehabilitation Center is actively hiring a highly organized and detail-oriented Scheduling Coordinator to support daily staffing operations within a skilled nursing environment. This role is essential in maintaining appropriate clinical coverage, minimizing overtime, and ensuring smooth day-to-day operations.

Schedule and Employment Type

  • Full-Time Days

Key Responsibilities

  • Create, manage, and maintain nursing staff schedules

  • Monitor staffing levels to ensure appropriate coverage

  • Track call-offs, attendance, and open shifts

  • Coordinate replacement staffing to minimize overtime and coverage gaps

  • Communicate schedule updates and changes to nursing staff and leadership

  • Maintain accurate staffing records and reports

  • Support daily staffing operations and on-call coordination

  • Assist leadership with staffing analysis and compliance documentation

Qualifications

  • Previous scheduling or staffing experience required

  • Active CNA/CMA license required (No Exceptions)

  • Strong organizational and time-management skills

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities

  • Experience in long-term care or healthcare staffing preferred

  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills
