Step into a dynamic educational environment as an onsite School Psychologist for the upcoming academic year. This contract opportunity covers approximately 15 hours per week, Monday through Friday, supporting student success and well-being at a middle school within a vibrant community. The role begins in late August 2026 and continues through mid-June 2027, providing valuable support to students and staff during the school year.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Valid Minnesota School Psychologist license required
• Experience in school psychology or school-based mental health preferred
• Ability to assess student learning and behavioral needs
• Strong teamwork, communication, and organizational skills
• Flexibility to provide services onsite; consideration for School Social Worker backgrounds
• Commitment to confidentiality and ethical standards in educational settings

Responsibilities:

• Conduct student evaluations and provide evidence-based recommendations
• Collaborate with teachers, staff, and parents on intervention strategies
• Support individualized education programs (IEPs) and 504 plans
• Deliver short-term counseling and crisis intervention as needed
• Facilitate small group and classroom interventions to foster positive school climate
• Maintain accurate and timely case documentation
• Serve as a resource for mental health and behavioral concerns
