Staffmark is partnering with a leading manufacturer in Kodak, TN to hire multiple positions for a growing team on 2nd shift! Work hours are Monday - Friday: 3:30 PM - 2:30 AM.

10 hours a week guaranteed overtime!

Important: Candidates must be able to train on Day Shift and then transition to Night Shift.

Experienced MIG Welders (Pay Based on Experience, see details below)

Shift Information

Training Schedule (Day Shift)

• Monday - Thursday: 6:00 AM - 3:30 PM
• Friday: 7:00 AM - 11:00 AM
• Overtime as required

Permanent Night Shift

• Monday - Friday: 3:30 PM - 2:30 AM
• $2.00/hour shift premium
• 10 hours a week guaranteed overtime!

Experienced MIG Welders are paid based on experience and must be able to pass a 3G horizonal weld test (takes about 3 hours to complete).

Job Requirements

• Ability to work independently on moderately complex job assignments.
• Ability to troubleshoot routine issues and make sound decisions.
• Ability to understand assembly manuals, directions, and the use of diagrams and sketches
• Self-motivated with strong attention to detail.
• Ability to follow detailed instructions and perform accurate work at a rapid pace.
• Ability to learn and follow all quality, safety, and regulatory requirements.
• Ability to work overtime as needed.
• Manual dexterity and the ability to carry out complex, repetitive tasks quickly and methodically
• Ability to lift, push, pull and/or carry up to 50 pounds.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Basic reading, writing, and math skills.

Welding Assessment candidates must successfully:

• Pass a weld test in Vertical and Overhead positions (single and multiple pass).
• Demonstrate proper use of a weld fillet gauge.
• Perform visual weld inspections to ensure compliance with workmanship standards.
• Pass both BC (Manual Steel Fillet) and CJ (Manual Stainless Steel) certification assessments, including written and practical testing.
