Virtual : This role enables associates to work virtually full-time , except for required in-person training sessions, providing maximum flexibility and autonomy. Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8AM-5PM CST. How you will make an impact: Maintains billing system database. Identifies, analyzes and reconciles discrepancies in data. Posts to sub ledgers. Strong analytical and math skills. Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment within specified deadlines Provides billing information to internal and external contacts; and first line collections. Professional and timely oral or written communication to internal and external customers. Fully proficient with daily tasks and is able to handle more complex billing situations with minimal guidance and provide recommendations for decision making. Minimum Requirements: Requires H.S. diploma or equivalent and minimum of 3 years billing and collections experience; or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background. Preferred Skills, Capabilities and Experiences: Strong Microsoft Office skills *Excel strongly preferred. Strong understanding of Explanation of Benefits, Ansi Codes, Reason Codes and Denial Codes preferred. Daily processing and reconciliation of cash receipts and postings to customer accounts, including payments made by EFT/ERA, credit card, lockbox and branch deposits as well as other adjustments to customer accounts for credits/debits and account write-offs at the line-item level preferred. Ability to identify, analyze and reconcile issues with billing, pricing or other customer service areas preferred. Ability to work overtime when necessary to meet department goals and objectives preferred.
