Certified Medical Assistant

Adecco Healthcare and Life Sciences is currently recruiting for a Medical Assistant in Lake Success, NY. This is an on-site opportunity. Please read below and apply with an updated resume for consideration:

Pay: $20 to $24 per hour based on experience
Type: Six-month contract, with opportunity for extension or full time offer
Schedule: Monday - Friday, 7:45AM - 3:45PM
Notes: Floating required every Tuesday and the 4th Wednesday of each month to the Syosset location.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Triaging patients

• Obtaining and documenting vital signs, patient histories, pharmacy, medication lists

• Setting up injections as needed

• Ultrasound machine set up

• Phlebotomy when needed

• Specimen collection

• Preparing patients for examinations, as well as cleaning down and stocking exam rooms

• You will also handle any paperwork when necessary and stay on top of the providers fax folder- incoming faxes, send out faxes, etc.

Qualifications:

• High School diploma or GED equivalent required

• Current nationally recognized Medical Assistant certification

• 1 - 2 years of Medical Assistant experience in a medical office, clinic, or hospital setting

Pay Details: $20.00 to $24.00 per hour
