Qualifications & Desired Experience:

• Holds an active South Carolina Physical Therapist license
• Previous pediatric or school-based PT experience strongly preferred
• Comfortable traveling between multiple school locations within a district
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills with students, staff, and families
• Able to adapt therapy plans to individual educational needs
• Strong organizational, time management, and documentation abilities

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide direct physical therapy services to K-12 students with diverse needs
• Conduct screenings, evaluations, and develop individualized therapy plans (IEP goals)
• Collaborate with teachers and special education staff to integrate therapy into school settings
• Maintain thorough records of sessions, progress, and compliance documentation
• Offer strategies, training, and resources to school personnel and families
• Participate in IEP meetings and other multidisciplinary team discussions
