What You'll Do:

• Assist in the creation and development of design concepts for substation projects
• Prepare detailed design drafts and visual content using substation design software
• Collaborate with senior designers and other team members to understand project requirements and objectives
• Revise and update designs based on feedback and project changes
• Ensure all designs comply with industry standards and project guidelines
• Maintain organized records of design drafts and related documents
• Assist in the preparation of presentations and design proposals
• Conduct research to stay updated with the latest design trends and techniques

What You'll Bring:

• 2-5+ years of substation design experience at a utility, municipality or consulting firm
• Experience with Physical & P&C Design
• Proficiency in 2D and 3D AutoCAD modeling software
• Strong communication skills
• Ability to work long hours, and occasionally weekends

Salary Range:

$32-38/hr.
