Everyone at Prysmian has the potential to make their mark; because whatever you do, wherever you are based, you will be part of a company that is helping transform the world around us.Make Your Mark at Prysmian Group - Join UsPosition Description: Develop and implement plans that execute the daily production scheduleHold the organization accountable for hitting daily goals and upholding quality/operational standardsLead, coach, mentor, and develop four frontline supervisors and their production teams.Lead tier communication processes, standard work execution, and daily management activities to drive operational excellence.Develop and execute long-term departmental strategies, capital improvement initiatives, and cross-functional operational improvement plans to ensure sustainable business growth.Use SAP and plant capacity models to determine staffing and work schedule requirementsInitiate and participate in plant continuous improvement projectsLead point of contact for industrial relations issues and business communicationImprove the technical and decision-making capabilities of the shop floor associatesUse plant data analysis tools for performance metric tracking, reporting, and problem solvingPrepare and deliver daily, weekly, and monthly presentations on plant metrics and project statusConduct plant appearance and safety audits and improvementsEnsure all product meets requirements as defined by the Plant’s Quality Management SystemsComply with all applicable safety procedures and ISO guidelinesSpecific Skills/Attributes Quality and customer focusedMotivated, high energy team player- participate and contribute to a constructive working environment with all levels of the organizationDemonstrate administrative aptitude, time management and ability to multi-taskCapable of remaining calm & professional if dealing with stressful circumstancesAble to work a variety of work schedules, including holiday and weekend emergency coverageExcellent oral and written communication skillsMust be a “hands on” style of manager with a high % floor interactionAble to motivate, hire, train, hold accountable, and support a diverse workforceEducation:Associate's degree or higher in a technical, engineering, industrial, manufacturing, or related field requiredBachelor's degree in Engineering, Industrial Technology, Manufacturing, or related field.Lean Manufacturing trainingLean Certification, Six Sigma Green Belt/Black Belt is a plusExperience:3+ years of leadership/management experience in a manufacturing environmentExperience leading frontline leaders, supervisors, or production teamsDemonstrated Lean Manufacturing and Continuous Improvement project experienceStrong people leadership, coaching, accountability, and communication skillsCapital project or project management experience is a plusSafety Requirements/Physical Requirements:Safety shoes and glasses required when working in the production areasHearing Protection required in posted areas*Prysmian will grant reasonable accommodations for any disability.-----------------------------------------Job Offer Fraud AlertWe take the security of our candidates seriously.
