Job Title

Registered Nurse (RN) – PACU

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Days | 36–40 hours per week | 16-Week Assignment

Key Responsibilities

• Provide post-anesthesia recovery care for inpatient and 23-hour stay acute PACU patients in a 17-bay unit
• Recover critical care patients following a wide range of surgical procedures including Endoscopy, ENT, General, GYN, GYN Oncology, Neurosurgery, Ophthalmology, Orthopedics, Plastics, Thoracic, Urology, and Vascular surgery
• Assist in the recovery of high-risk Cesarean Section patients
• Care for a primarily adult patient population with some pediatric cases
• Fulfill weekday on-call requirements as scheduled
• Accurately document patient care and assessments using EPIC EMR

Required Qualifications

• Active and unrestricted New York State Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications
• Minimum 2 years of PACU experience
• Demonstrated ability to recover critical care patients
• Proficiency with EPIC EMR

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior travel nursing experience
