Entry Writer Details:
- Temp-to-Hire position
- $30.00 / hour
- Full Time work available
- First Shift ( Monday through Friday from 08:00am to 04:30pm )
- Prepare and file import customs entries using the ACE system.
- Review import documents and verify HTS classifications, country of origin, values, and duty rates.
- Monitor entries for CBP holds, exams, and additional documentation requirements.
- Communicate with customs brokers, CBP, carriers, clients, and internal teams to resolve issues.
- Maintain accurate records and ensure entries meet compliance requirements and deadlines.
Entry Writer Qualifications:
- 2–5+ years of experience as a Customs Entry Writer, Import Specialist, or Customs Broker.
- Experience using ACE/ABI and knowledge of HTS classifications, customs valuation, country of origin, and duty calculations.
- Familiarity with Section 301, AD/CVD, PGA, FDA, and other import compliance requirements is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail, organization, and ability to meet strict deadlines.
- Applicant may be subject to a background check
