Enterprise Architect

A client in Spring, TX is looking for an Enterprise Architect. This individual needs to have strong Application Architecture expertise to drive enterprise-wide architecture alignment, governance, and business value realization across application, data, infrastructure, security, and AI domains.This role serves as a central architecture integrator and decision authority, ensuring that application ecosystems, integrations, and digital services are designed to maximize scalability, reuse, data-driven insights, and AI enablement, while aligning with enterprise standards and regulatory requirements (CMMC / NIST 800171). This person will play a critical role in the Architecture Review Board (ARB), focusing on application-centric design decisions, integration patterns, and ensuring that applications effectively leverage enterprise data platforms and AI capabilities to deliver measurable business outcomes. This position is looking to pay between $80-90/hr.

Required Skills & Experience

7+ years in Enterprise Architecture or Application/Solution Architecture

Strong experience in:
- Application architecture (PRIMARY strength)
- Integration patterns (API, event-driven)
- Distributed and cloud-native systems

Working knowledge of:
Data platforms and AI/ML integration concepts

Experience with:
Architecture governance (ARB, standards, policies)

Ability to:
Translate application design into business value outcomes


Nice to Have Skills & Experience

Experience with:
- Azure / Azure Gov environments
- Modern application platforms and integration tools

Familiarity with:
Databricks, data lakehouse, or similar platforms

Experience with EA tools:
LeanIX, Ardoq

Exposure to:
AI-enabled application design and model integration
