Responsibilities
- Perform a full range of maintenance and repair services efficiently and accurately
- Diagnose and repair complex mechanical and electrical issues using factory tools and diagnostic equipment
- Ensure all repairs meet manufacturer specifications and quality standards
- Test-drive vehicles and verify all concerns are resolved before delivery
- Provide clear, detailed documentation of work performed on repair orders
- Communicate effectively with Service Advisors and customers regarding needed repairs or recommendations
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
- Stay current on Ford training, certifications, and technical updates
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Ford Certification required; Senior Master Technician certification preferred
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as an automotive technician (Ford or Lincoln dealership experience strongly preferred)
- In-depth knowledge of vehicle systems, diagnostics, and repair techniques
- Proficiency with Ford diagnostic tools and service software
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and customer service skills
- Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team
- Valid drivers license with a clean driving record
- Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for long periods
