THIS POSTING HAS BEEN EXTENDED BEYOND IT'S ORIGINAL CLOSING DATE Position Summary The Store Manager is responsible for the daily operations, financial performance, team leadership, and elevated guest experience of a LaMar’s Donuts and Coffee location. This working manager role actively participates in guest service (front counter and drive thru), beverage and food production, and team support during peak periods. Because the Store Manager regularly performs duties common to tipped employees, the role is eligible to earn tips while on the clock during direct customer service. Compensation Base Hourly Rate $20.75 to $30.00 per hour Bilingual Pay Differential $1.00 per hour for employees who speak English and at least one additional language (other than Spanish); approved by management and applied to all hours worked (not just service time) $2.00 per hour for employees who speak English and Spanish; approved by management and applied to all hours worked (not just service time) Overtime Paid at 1.5x hourly rate for all hours worked over 40 per week, including bilingual differential in regular rate calculation as required by law Tips Eligible to earn and accumulate tips while on the clock when performing direct service work Tips may include: cash, credit card/digital, and tip‑pool distributions (if applicable) No tip credit is taken; LaMar’s pays full hourly wage in accordance with Colorado and Denver minimum wage laws Tips are an additional form of compensation Tip Participation Rules Can earn tips when Serving guests directly Running POS/drive thru Preparing beverages or food Supporting team during active service Cannot earn tips when Performing administrative duties: scheduling, hiring, payroll, inventory planning, office/admin work Break and Meal Periods 10 minute paid rest break for every 4 hours worked 30 minute unpaid meal period for shifts over 5 hours Benefits Health, dental, vision, life, and supplemental insurance Paid time off and sick leave (Colorado HFWA compliant) Employee discounts Career growth opportunities and pathway Core Responsibilities Operations Leadership – manage all daily store operations Compliance – health & safety regulations, food safety standards, brand SOPs, Colorado labor laws, anti‑discrimination policies, and wage laws Revenue & Profitability – drive store toward $2M–$4M+ annual revenue targets, manage labor %, food cost %, and sales performance; execute upselling and premium product strategies Team Leadership & Development – hire, train, develop staff; lead by example as a working manager; schedule and labor management; enforce legal compliance for breaks, overtime, and wage laws Guest Experience – deliver elevated hospitality experience, maintain speed, accuracy, and professionalism; resolve issues immediately Production & Quality Control – oversee donut production, beverage program, food consistency, maintain premium quality standards Inventory & Supply Chain Execution – manage ordering and inventory, reduce waste and shrinkage, ensure vendor compliance Administrative Duties – timekeeping, payroll approvals, hiring, onboarding, performance management (non‑tipped work) Required Qualifications 5+ years of restaurant, café, or retail management experience Experience managing hourly teams Strong operational and financial understanding Ability to work in high‑volume environments Food Safety Certification (or ability to obtain) Preferred Qualifications Coffee or specialty beverage experience Bakery or donut production experience Drive‑through operations experience Franchise system experience Key Competencies Leadership and accountability Financial discipline Guest‑first mindset Attention to detail Ability to work in fast‑paced environments Work Environment and Physical Requirements Standing for extended periods (12–14+ hours) Lifting up to 50 lbs Early morning shifts (2:00–4:00 AM production) Fast‑paced, high‑volume setting Schedule Expectations Full time (35–45+ hours per week) Must be available for early mornings, weekends (Saturday and Sunday) required, and holidays Equal Opportunity and Pay Equity Statement LaMar’s Donuts and Coffee is an Equal Opportunity Employer and complies with the Colorado Equal Pay for Equal Work Act and the Colorado Anti‑Discrimination Act (CADA).
