Job Description

We are hiring General Production Workers to join a busy garage door manufacturing operation. This is a full-time, long-term contract-to-hire opportunity with hands-on training and the potential to become a permanent employee.

In this role, you will work as part of a team assembling garage door components, packaging finished products, handling materials, loading and unloading shipments, and supporting production throughout the facility.

Responsibilities

• Assemble garage door sections, panels, seals, end caps, windows, and other components

• Read and follow production orders and work instructions

• Accurately use a tape measure for assembly and cutting tasks

• Operate hand and power tools safely

• Perform packaging and visual quality inspections

• Load and unload trucks and move materials throughout the facility

• Replenish production materials and help maintain inventory

• Use basic computer programs, including Excel, for material tracking as needed

• Maintain a clean and organized work area

• Follow all safety procedures and properly use required PPE

• Assist with other production, assembly, and general labor duties as needed

Qualifications Required:

• High school diploma or GED

• At least 1–3 months of manufacturing experience

• Ability to accurately read a tape measure

• Basic math skills, including addition and subtraction

• Ability to safely use hand and power tools

• Ability to read and follow work orders and instructions

• Comfortable performing repetitive, physically demanding work

• Ability to bend, reach, push, pull, and lift throughout the shift

• Strong attendance, teamwork, and attention to detail

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Williamsport, PA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $16.50 - $18.15/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
