Controller

A great UHY client is seeking a Controller to join a rapidly growing, entrepreneurial organization within a specialized and evolving industry. This is a high-impact leadership opportunity to oversee accounting operations, support continued growth, and partner closely with ownership in a fast-paced environment. The Controller role is an onsite position. This is a client direct hire position. Oversee day-to-day accounting operations including A/R, bank reconciliations, and financial reporting Manage general ledger activity and ensure accuracy of financial records Support month-end and year-end close processes Partner with leadership on financial insights and operational decision-making Maintain and improve accounting processes and internal controls Work within QuickBooks Online and other systems to manage financial data Collaborate across the organization to support a growing, multi-entity structure Experience in a large cannabis organization ($50M+ revenue preferred) Strong accounting leadership experience in a Controller or similar role Ability to operate in a fast-paced, evolving environment Experience with QuickBooks Online required; Cannex or Leaf Link is a plus Strong communication and problem-solving skills CPA preferred but not required Demonstrated longevity and desire for long-term growth ---------------------------------- UHY Advisors' Resource Solutions Group provides clients with accomplished professionals to support finance, accounting, internal audit and tax teams.
