About the Role

The Company is seeking a Vice President of Marketing to spearhead the development and execution of marketing strategies that will drive growth and scale. The successful candidate will be responsible for owning the marketing function, including annual planning, budget prioritization, and performance management across various marketing channels. This role demands a strategic, creative, and analytical thinker with a proven track record in B2B high-tech industries, particularly in enterprise and commercial/mid-market marketing. The VP of Marketing will be a key partner to the Chief Commercial Officer and the go-to-market leadership team, shaping the company's growth strategy and ensuring that marketing efforts are aligned with the organization's goals. Key responsibilities for the Vice President of Marketing at the company include leading a team and managing agencies to achieve revenue and retention goals, driving digital demand generation, and championing the use of AI and LLM-driven marketing. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 15 years of experience in marketing, with at least 6 years in a leadership role, and be adept at leveraging marketing technology and tools. They should be data-driven, with a strong grasp of key metrics and performance indicators, and have a demonstrated ability to work with cross-functional teams. The role also involves overseeing relationship marketing, particularly in the context of upselling and cross-selling to existing customers, and leading the company's participation in trade shows and events. A hands-on approach, problem-solving skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment are essential. A BA/BS degree is required, and the candidate should be comfortable leading change and be committed to the continuous improvement and growth of the marketing team.
