Apartment Maintenance Technician

POSITION: Apartment (Multifamily) Maintenance Technician at Avalon Place Apartments in Fairborn off of Rockdell Dr. SCHEDULE: 8:30AM to 5:30PM Monday through Friday, emergency on-call every 4th week ($100 bonus for weeks on-call and min of 1.5 hours paid time) COMPENSATION: $24.00 to $27.00 an hour plus a quarterly bonus of up to $750, $500 a year in tool reimbursement and much more! Responsibilities: Complete work orders in a timely manner based on priority Turning and making units ready in between tenant occupancy Completing repairs in property and apartment plumbing, electrical, carpentry, drywall, and HVAC Assist in preventative maintenance as assigned Exterior structural maintenance as needed Assist in property grounds maintenance and snow removal as needed Assist in coverage of a 24/7 emergency on-call system Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent 2+ year experience in the maintenance field preferred 1+ months experience in apartment maintenance Basic knowledge of drywall, painting, and carpentry experience Plumbing and electrical experience EPA HVAC Certification and repair experience required CPO Certification a plus Working knowledge of appliances to include washers and dryers Ability to physically demonstrate basic job duties (completed during interview process) Benefits and Compensation (for full-time employees): 401k match up to $4,000 a year On-Call bonus of $100 and minimum 1.5 hours of paid time Quarterly bonuses up to $750, that's $3,000 a year!
