DescriptionTech Summary:We are seeking a Principal Applications Coordinator for Epic Beaker Clinical Pathology (CP), the highest-level Application Coordinator (AC) role within the organization. This individual will serve as the technical authority for Beaker CP, providing leadership across application architecture, design, build, integration, testing, and optimization efforts. The role requires deep Epic Beaker CP expertise, the ability to lead complex enterprise initiatives, and the capability to influence technical strategy, standardization, and operational excellence across multiple KP markets. key responsibilities: Serve as the senior technical lead and subject matter expert for Epic Beaker CP, guiding architecture, design decisions, and complex solutioning. Lead large-scale implementation and optimization efforts, translating clinical and operational requirements into scalable, supportable solutions. Provide technical oversight and mentorship to application teams while driving standardization, governance, and alignment with enterprise laboratory strategies.Job Summary:In addition to the responsibilities listed below, this position is responsible for serving as a lead expert in configuring complex system builds, testing, validation, and ongoing production support of assigned applications. This position will possess clinical or IT systems knowledge and experience to develop and support safe and high quality care using the electronic health record. This position will provide consultation on the in depth and precise investigation and documentation of future- state operational specifications and application functionality by leading the analysis of application capabilities, workflows, data collection, report details, and other clinical and/or technical issues associated with Epic software. This position is also responsible for designing, developing, and documenting the internal procedures that will be used in conjunction with Epic applications. Some of the unique challenges this position will face include analyzing clinical and business operations and investigating user preferences; prioritizing & implementing requested system changes & updates; serving as a liaison between end users, third parties, and Epic implementation staff.
