Helicopter Avionics Technician

Aircraft Avionics TechnicianPays up to $40/hr depending on experience (per diem for eligible candidates)1st and 2nd shift openings6 month contract to hireOpen to any airframe experiencePerform avionics maintenance, troubleshooting, repair, and installation on AW139 helicopters and other aircraft in an FAA repair station environment. Responsibilities include wire harness fabrication, system diagnostics, avionics modifications, and maintenance documentation. Work with systems such as transponders, navigation/communication equipment, radar, and DME while supporting heavy maintenance and completion projects.Requirements:4+ years of avionics experience on any airframeStrong troubleshooting skills and ability to read wiring diagrams/schematicsExperience with avionics installations, repairs, and wire harness fabricationAbility to work overtime as neededPreferred:AW139 or other helicopter experienceGarmin, Honeywell, or Cobham avionics experienceFCC GROL and/or FAA A&P certificationCorporate, commercial, military, or helicopter aviation experienceWork Environment:Based in a Philadelphia-area MRO and completion center, supporting helicopter and fixed-wing aircraft maintenance, modifications, and avionics installations in a fast-paced, safety-focused hangar environment.Job Type & Location:This is a contract to hire position based out of Bensalem, PA.Pay and Benefits:The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $40.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
