divh2Maintenance Technician HVAC/h2pThe Maintenance Technician HVAC supports overall facility maintenance with primary responsibility for troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining PTAC and other HVAC equipment, while also assisting with general building repairs to ensure a safe, comfortable, and compliant environment for our healthcare environment./ph3Essential Functions/h3h3HVAC / PTAC Systems/h3ulliMaintain, troubleshoot, and repair the facilitys HVAC, refrigeration, ventilation, and PTAC systems./liliPerform preventive maintenance on PTAC and other HVAC equipment (filters, coils, performance checks)./liliRespond to comfort calls and equipment alarms; diagnose issues and complete timely repairs./li/ulh3General Maintenance/h3ulliPerform minor plumbing, electrical, soldering, and carpentry repairs (patching/painting walls, roofs, windows, ceilings)./liliClear blockages in toilets, sinks, and other drainage./liliSupport maintenance of building systems and equipment as directed by the Maintenance Director or designee./li/ulh3Work Order Management/h3ulliManage work requests using maintenance software, accurately documenting work performed, parts used, and time./li/ulp* Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions of the position./ph3Other Duties/h3ulliParticipates in staff in-service training/liliProvides orientation to new employees as needed./liliFloats to other units/facilities as assigned to support maintenance and HVAC needs./liliFollows all safety precautions/liliMaintain mandatory skill updates/liliComply with all policies, local, state and federal laws and regulations/liliPerform other duties as assigned/li/ulh3Supervisory Responsibility/h3ulliMay serve as an interim department leader depending on need/li/ulh3Physical Requirements/h3ulliMust be able to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds and push/pull up to 250+ pounds, walk, climb stair or ladders, stand on feet for extended periods of time, etc./liliWhile performing the duties of this job, the employee will frequently work in outside weather condition and is frequently exposed to fumes and airborne particles./liliOccasionally works near moving mechanical parts/li/ulpThe job description is not designed to cover or contain a comprehensive listing of activities duties or responsibilities that are required of the employee.
