  • Conduct individual and group therapy sessions with clients via telehealth platforms, ensuring consistent availability and responsiveness to client needs.

  • Maintain accurate and thorough documentation of client interactions, therapy plans, and updates in compliance with HIPAA regulations and ethical standards.

  • Provide immediate crisis intervention and support for clients experiencing severe mental health issues or emotional distress.

  • Establish a collaborative relationship with other wellness professionals to coordinate care and enhance client health outcomes, including medical providers, social workers, and community resources.

  • Ensure adherence to all relevant ethical guidelines and legal requirements in the practice of marriage and family therapy.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your client base will primarily consist of individuals and families confronting various relationship dynamics, including communication barriers, anxiety, depression, and significant life transitions. Understanding and empathizing with diverse backgrounds, including cultural and socioeconomic factors, will be essential for providing effective therapy. You will work to create a safe, non-judgmental space for all clients, helping them navigate their unique challenges and goals in their mental health journeys.

Qualifications\n

  • A Master's degree in Marriage and Family Therapy, Psychology, or a related field is required.

  • Valid and active licensure as a Marriage and Family Therapist in Maryland.

  • Demonstrated experience in providing therapy services, particularly via telehealth, with a strong understanding of digital platforms.

  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills with an ability to quickly establish rapport and trust with clients.

  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple clients and case documentation effectively.

Preferred Experience\n

  • Experience in family therapy settings is strongly preferred.

  • Familiarity with various therapeutic modalities, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Solution-Focused Therapy, or Emotionally Focused Therapy.

Compensation and Benefits\n

This position offers a competitive annual salary ranging from USD 90,000 to 110,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
