Position: Registered Nurse - Med Surg Location: Corning Shift: Night Shift Schedule: 3x12 Experience Required: 2 Years Weekly Pay: $2050 to $2250 Responsibilities Provide direct nursing care to adult and geriatric patients with a variety of medical and surgical conditions Perform comprehensive patient assessments and continuously monitor patient status Administer medications, IV therapies, blood products, and prescribed treatments Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care plans Monitor and document patient progress and promptly report changes in condition Collaborate with physicians, case managers, therapists, and interdisciplinary healthcare teams to coordinate patient care Educate patients and families regarding diagnoses, medications, treatment plans, and discharge instructions Respond appropriately to emergencies and changing patient needs Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with facility policies and regulatory standards Ensure compliance with patient safety, infection prevention, and quality care guidelines Requirements Active RN License in Iowa Minimum 2 years of recent Medical-Surgical nursing experience Current BLS Certification required ACLS Certification preferred Strong assessment, critical thinking, and clinical decision-making skills Ability to manage multiple patients in a fast-paced acute care environment Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities Proficiency with electronic medical records and nursing documentation systems Commitment to delivering compassionate, patient-centered care Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of an interdisciplinary team #J-18808-Ljbffr TravelNurseSource
