Registered Nurse - Labor and Delivery

Location: Overland Park, KS

Assignment Duration: This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule: Night Shift: 7 PM - 7 AM

Job Description: We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse specializing in Labor and Delivery. The ideal candidate will join our dedicated team in a unit equipped with 13 beds and 3 triage beds, where they will provide comprehensive care for patients during labor and recovery.

Responsibilities:

Monitor fetal heart rate and maternal vital signs.
Administer medications as per medical orders.
Facilitate vaginal deliveries and assist with cesarean sections.
Provide compassionate support to new mothers and families.
Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

Current RN license in the state of practice.
BLS and ACLS certifications are required.
Labor and Delivery experience is essential; experience with circulation for C/S and catching newborns is preferred.
