Allied Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Allied Healthcare Professional needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available

Opportunity:

Nuclear Medical Technician - Nuclear Med Technician / Radiology

Job Details:

• Work Monday through Friday schedule with no weekends except for call shifts
• Possible call requirements: Monday-Friday 4:00 PM to 10:00 PM; Saturday-Sunday 8:00 AM to 10:00 PM (1-2 days per week and every fourth weekend)
• Minimum 2 years of experience required; first-time travelers accepted
• Patient population ranges from pediatrics to geriatrics
• Required certifications: NMTCB and/or ARRT (NM), BLS
• Perform HIDA scans, bone scans, lymphoscintigraphy, gastric emptying, brain death studies, myocardial perfusion SPECT, I-123 scan/uptake, I-131 whole body scan, I-131 ablations (<30 mCi), renal scans with or without Lasix, parathyroid scans
• Work with Epic, Pyxis, and PACS systems (required)
• Scrub color requirements: black, gray, or purple
• Maximum 7 days requested time off per contract
• May float to sister facility for STAT inpatients
• Holiday work requirements based on number of major holidays during assignment period
• 13 orientation hours provided
• EKG experience preferred
• Must be registered to NMTCB and/or ARRT (NM)
