• Partnering closely with radiologists and referring physicians to guarantee the production of high-quality diagnostic images
• Operating and maintaining imaging equipment, promptly reporting any technical issues
• Documenting procedures accurately and managing patient records within the electronic health record (EHR) system
• Keeping current with evolving ultrasound imaging techniques and best practices

Educational Background

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or a related discipline
• Preferred completion of a CAAHEP-accredited Sonography program

Certification Requirements

• Active certification from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or equivalent
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification is preferred
