Sr. Java Developer (Java/Spring)

Salary: $83,000 - 107,000 per year Requirements:

• 10+ years of Java experience (currently using Java 8 or later) in a highly regulated industry
• Experience with Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Spring Integration, and Spring Security
• Knowledge of REST APIs and JSON
• Strong skills in Python, TypeScript, JavaScript, SQL, and shell scripting
• Experience with secure coding and application security
• Skills in unit, integration, and functional testing, software design, debugging, and peer review
• Strong AWS experience
• Experience with WebSphere Application Server or Liberty and IBM MQ
• Preferred: Front-end experience with Angular, HTML5, and CSS3
• Preferred: Experience with SQL, Oracle, and data modeling
• Preferred: Familiarity with CI/CD and DevOps tools such as Jenkins, GitHub, and GitLab
• Preferred: Familiarity with NgRx, RxJS, Connect:Direct, Docker, Kubernetes, and OpenShift
• Preferred: Knowledge of PDLC/SDLC, CI/CD, DevOps, data modeling, agentic AI, and Claude Code technical skills

• Design, build, configure, and improve applications, databases, test automation, and DevOps processes
• Analyze business and technical requirements and translate them into scalable, maintainable solutions
• Follow approved SDLC/PDLC methods and produce thorough design documentation
• Write secure code and conduct unit, integration, and functional testing
• Review colleagues code for alignment with engineering standards and design patterns
• Collaborate with product teams, support adoption, and resolve complex technical issues
• Provide on-call support, troubleshoot incidents, perform root cause analysis, and manage service requests
• Work independently as a senior technical expert and communicate clearly with stakeholders
