SQL Python Developer

Kforce has a client in Jersey City, NJ that is in need of a SQL Python Developer. Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain Python-based applications and data solutions
- Build and optimize multithreaded/multiprocessing data pipelines
- Write, optimize, and manage complex SQL queries (Snowflake preferred)
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams in Agile environments
- Implement and support CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins and Git
- Develop automated test cases and ensure code quality and reliability
- Troubleshoot, analyze, and resolve production issues
- Contribute to development of financial/risk-related applications
- Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience
- 8+ years of experience in Python development and data engineering
- Strong expertise in Python (including pandas) and SQL
- Experience with Snowflake or similar cloud data platforms
- Familiarity with AWS cloud services
- Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins) and version control (Git)
- Experience writing automated tests (pytest, unittest)
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and debugging skills
- Experience working in Agile and distributed team environments
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently
