Urgent Care LPN

Location: Rancho Bernardo, CA (on-site; may float to nearby clinics)
Schedule: Full-time contingent, 32–40 hours/week , including every other weekend (some major holidays). Shifts are typically 7–10 hours during clinic operating hours.
Contract Length: ~27 weeks (temporary/contract ; conversion possible but not guaranteed)
Pay: $37.17/hour (W2)

Overview

A-Line Staffing is hiring an Urgent Care LPN to support a retail clinic setting providing patient-facing care, vaccinations, and point-of-care services. This role is safety sensitive and on-site .

What You’ll Do

• Administer oral, injectable, IV, and topical medications
• Perform patient assessments and routine health checks (vitals, symptom review, documentation)
• Support vaccine administration and point-of-care testing
• Perform phlebotomy as needed
• Document care and medical history accurately in the electronic medical record (EMR)
• Conduct medication reviews and monitor for side effects/interactions
• Provide patient education and connect patients with community resources
• Maintain a clean, organized, well-stocked clinic environment
• Communicate clearly with patients, families, and clinical staff

Required Qualifications

• Active, unrestricted LPN/LVN license (must be in good standing with no current or prior disciplinary actions )
• BLS certification (expiration must be at least 30+ days beyond the expected start)
• 1+ year of related healthcare experience
• Recent experience in Primary Care, Urgent Care, or Emergency Room settings
• Experience with phlebotomy, vaccine administration, and point-of-care testing
• Comfortable working in an EMR (Epic preferred)
