POSITION SUMMARY:

Under the direction of the Pharmacy Supervisor, the Pharmacy Shipping Clerk is responsible for packing and shipping prescriptions according to client specifications and is responsible for other duties assigned.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine and professional pharmacy functions.
• Accurately pack and ship prescription orders for KnippeRx in a timely manner.
• Responsible for stocking freezers with gel packs.
• Follow all procedures and pack-out processes when shipping an order.
• Respect and follow HIPAA and privacy law guidelines, and any other local or federal laws.
• Follow and aid in enforcement of all company policies and procedures.
• Perform Quality Assurance checks on automated technology specific to pharmacy equipment and shipping requirements
• Responsible for maintaining a clean and orderly work site.
• Responsible for keeping an adequate stock of boxes and supplies at shipping station.

Qualifications

REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

• High School diploma or equivalent
• Minimum of one year pharmacy experience preferred
• Ability to read, write, speak, and understand the English language

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES:

• Ability to lift 20lbs
• Ability to work in a standing environment
• Ability to communicate effectively, patiently, and courteously
• Ability to perform repetitious work accurately
• Ability to handle multiple activities or interruptions at once.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

• Location of job activities 100% inside
• Must be available for evenings and weekend shifts if needed
• Noise and / or vibrations exposure
• Reaching (overhead), and handling
• Hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity
• Sufficient to operate standard office equipment
• Stand, bend, and sit for prolonged periods of time in front of a computer
• Lift, carry, and move up to 25 pounds

The expected base pay range for this position is $16.50 to $17 per hr. The actual compensation for the position may vary based on market differences and on factors such as skills, experience, qualifications and can vary based on location and/or work schedule. In addition to base pay, CareTria offers a comprehensive benefits package.
