Flow Monitoring Technician Senior

The purpose of this classification is to lead a crew to install and remove flow monitoring equipment within sanitary sewage lines; inspect installed meters; and retrieve data from installed units for the County's Flow and Rainfall Monitoring Program.
Essential functions include leading and coordinating daily work activities of assigned co-workers, overseeing the activities of Flow Monitoring Technicians and crew members, performing routine monitoring site inspections, and ensuring rapid and appropriate responses to hazardous material spills or other emergencies.
Minimum qualifications require a high school diploma or GED, three years of experience in construction, maintenance, electrical, electronics, process control wastewater monitoring, and/or compliance activities, and a valid Georgia driver's license and a State of Georgia Wastewater Collection System Operator license.
