Overview
This travel assignment is for a Registered Nurse - Operating Room (OR) in Templeton, California. Start date 08/17/2026 for 8 weeks, with a weekly pay range of $2,019 to $2,138 and guaranteed 40 hours per week. The shift is 3x12-hour days (7:00 AM–7:00 PM) in a Short Term Acute Care Hospital setting.

Responsibilities
- Deliver perioperative nursing care for surgical patients across assigned cases, including preoperative assessment, positioning, intraoperative support, and postoperative recovery.
- Maintain the sterile field and assist the surgical team with instruments, supplies, and equipment throughout procedures.
- Monitor patient status during surgery, respond to changes, and collaborate with anesthesia providers to ensure patient safety.
- Document perioperative care and intraoperative events accurately in the electronic medical record (Epic) and ensure clear handoffs to the post-anesthesia care team.
- Adhere to infection control, safety protocols, and facility standards to promote optimal patient outcomes.

Requirements
- Active RN license in California
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- At least 2 years of recent Operating Room (OR) nursing experience
- Epic experience required
- Ability to work in a surgical OR environment and complete required facility orientation
