Diversified Support Services is looking for a Recruiting Coordinator to join our team in Birmingham, AL. In this role, you'll manage the full recruitment cycle, from attracting and screening candidates to interviewing, onboarding, and completing new hire paperwork. If you're a creative, people-focused recruiter who communicates confidently in both English and Spanish, this is the opportunity for you.
Responsibilities
- Partner with hiring managers to understand staffing needs and build effective recruiting strategies
- Write and post job ads, and source candidates through databases, social media, and career events
- Screen resumes, conduct phone, Zoom, and in-person interviews, and present shortlists of qualified candidates
- Coordinate onboarding and prepare compliant new hire paperwork
- Keep complete, accurate records of interviews and new hires
Qualifications
- Previous experience as a recruiting coordinator or recruiter
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to meet deadlines
- Hands-on experience with phone screens, interviews, and reference checks
- Familiarity with applicant tracking systems, HR databases, and social media recruiting
Schedule & Pay
- Monday - Friday
- 8:00 am - 5:00 pm
- Pay: $20.00 DOE
