Nursing Manager

Holland Home is excited to offer a rare opportunity for a Registered Nurse (RN) Unit Manager to join our Skilled Nursing leadership team at our beautiful Raybrook Campus in Grand Rapids. This leadership role is ideal for an experienced RN who is passionate about long-term care, dementia care, and supporting residents, families, and team members in a collaborative environment. Working alongside another Nurse Manager, you will help oversee a specialized dementia care unit serving approximately 40-45 residents. This full-time position offers a consistent Monday through Friday daytime schedule, with participation in a shared Manager On-Call rotation. Position Highlights Full-time, Monday through Friday day shift Leadership role overseeing a long-term care and dementia care unit Collaborative management structure with fellow RN Unit Managers Opportunity to make a meaningful impact on resident outcomes and staff development Join one of Michigan's premier non-profit senior living organizations Key Responsibilities Partner with three other RN Unit Managers and an MDS/RN Unit Manager to oversee daily operations and resident care within Raybrook Manor's skilled nursing community. Lead and support the care team on the long-term care and dementia care unit. Supervise, coordinate, and evaluate resident care to ensure the highest standards of quality and regulatory compliance. Support and mentor nursing staff to promote excellence in resident-centered care. Complete MDS assessments accurately and within required timeframes. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to optimize resident outcomes. Participate in the Manager On-Call rotation with the nursing leadership team. Oversee approximately 22 - 25 residents as part of the unit management structure. Qualifications Current and active Michigan Registered Nurse (RN) license required. Minimum of 3 years of nursing experience, preferably in long-term care, skilled nursing, or dementia care. Previous leadership or management experience is preferred but not required. MDS experience is a plus. Strong clinical judgment, organizational skills, and leadership abilities. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
