Composite & Bonding Specialist Manager

Job Overview Composite & Bonding Specialist Manager – Kinston, NC. Lead the manufacturing team that builds critical composite components for the Airbus A350 XWB, including the composite center fuselage and wing spar. Responsibilities Lead a team in developing solutions to complex problems requiring ingenuity and creativity. Oversee fabrication and assembly of complex aerostructures to meet production requirements and customer acceptance. Manage assembly of components into subassemblies; mating or joining of structural assemblies; installation of systems; testing with mechanical, electrical, and electronic test equipment. Interface with engineering, management, suppliers, and customers to meet product requirements and customer acceptance. Execute additional duties as assigned. Qualifications High School Diploma or GED. At least 5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment. At least 5 years in a leadership/management role with proven leadership experience. Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English. Experience working with multiple cross‑functional groups (Quality, Assembly, Procurement, Supply Chain, Machining). 5% domestic/international travel. U.S. citizenship required. Associate or Bachelor’s degree preferred. Experience developing and managing a statement of work on time and within budget. Experience using Microsoft Office Suite, SAP, and ability to work any shift, including alternative work weeks. Experience working in a union environment with collective bargaining agreements. Experience monitoring cost and managing projects; strategic planning; new product introduction (NPI).
